Welcome to harvest church

Here is some information to help you as you plan to Harvest Church for the first time. And don't miss our FAQ section below that covers the top questions when planning your visit. We look forward to seeing you!

Atmosphere

At Harvest Church, it's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting, so expect to be warmly greeted. We want you to be comfortable and relaxed, ready to join us in worship. We will not single you out or ask you to stand or do anything else during the worship service other than join us as God leads you in our congregational worship through the responsive readings, singing hymns, prayers, and engagement with the preaching of God's Word.

Family Friendly

You are welcome at Harvest Church, regardless of your family dynamics. We encourage family worship and delight in children joining their parents for the worship service. If needed, during our worship service we have background-checked congregational volunteer care available for infants and toddlers.

Sermon

Harvest Church's Teaching Elder Reverend Deneen is an expository preacher, teaching the meaning of the original text in each sermon, with the focus built around Jesus Christ.  You can expect to hear the message of who Jesus is, what He has done to save mankind from sin, and what the Bible, God's Word, teaches us about how we are to live proclaimed every week.

Biblical Teaching

Harvest Church places a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Sunday School furthers this teaching in a more informal setting. Teaching Elder Reverend Deneen teaches Sunday School in the sanctuary each Sunday morning from 9:30 am - 10:15 am.  Additionally, Harvest Church celebrates Communion (the Lord's Supper) as part of the worship service the first Sunday of each month.  Following the service, we enjoy a potluck fellowship lunch.  This is a great time to get to know more about Harvest Church and its people.

FAQs About Visiting

What Are Your Services Like?

Whether it is through the music, prayer or preaching, God's Word is at the center of all we gather for.  Each worship service includes a time of responsive reading, singing, prayer, giving and preaching. Sermons are built on God’s Word, not Pastor Deneen's ideas, and aim to transform our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.

Where Should I Park?

Please park in our parking lot located right in front of the church..

Where Should I Go When I Enter The Building?

There are two main double glass doors on the front of the church. Our members are happy to greet you and even provide assistance should you need it to get from your automobile to the church building.  The sanctuary is located down the right hall as you enter the church.

Do You Provide Childcare?

We have clean nurseries for infants and toddlers and provide background-checked congregational volunteer child care as it is needed during the worship services. We encourage family worship and delight in having children join their parents for worship.

What Should I Wear?

Wear what you believe is comfortable and that honors the Lord. We have no other dress code or expectation. Most of our members and regular attenders wear business casual clothes, and a few wear business formal attire.
