Harvest Church Leadership
Harvest Church is blessed to have a leadership team, comprised of elders and deacons, who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. The Session, comprised of the teaching elder and ruling elders, have the government and spiritual oversight of the church, including teaching. Our pastor, Teaching Elder Reverend Scott Deneen, is a RTS Jackson graduate (2001) and has served in the PCA since 1991 as a Youth Minister, Assistant/Associate Pastor, and Senior Minister. He was ordained in 2002.
The two church offices are elders and deacons. There are two orders of elders, teaching elders (TE) and ruling elders (RE). Deacons serve the church as they minister to those in need, collect all gifts of the people, and care for the church building and property. They are under the supervision and authority of the Session.

Pastor
Scott and his wife, Suzy hail from East TN but have lived in the Charlotte metro area since 2002. Scott has been in full-time Christian ministry since 1991, was ordained by the PCA in 2002., and has served several churches over the years. He was installed as Harvest Church's full-time pastor August 2, 2020. Scott and Suzy have been married for 28 years and have two children – Micah and his wife Lyara who reside in Charlotte, and Emma, who is a student at NC State University.
